This Privacy Policy describes how PricePulse (the "Extension") handles your information. Your privacy is critically important to us.

1. Data Storage (Your Data Stays With You)

PricePulse is designed to be privacy-first. All data related to your tracked products, including product names, URLs, images, and price history, is stored exclusively on your local device using your browser's built-in storage (such as IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local).

We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any of your personal data or product tracking lists to any external servers.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your personal name or email address.
We do not track your browsing history (aside from the product pages you explicitly choose to track).
We do not have access to your tracked product lists or price history.

3. Premium License Verification

If you purchase a Premium license, your license key is verified locally within the extension. It is not sent to a server for validation (after the initial purchase).

4. Third-Party Requests

To provide currency conversion, the Extension makes an anonymous request to a public exchange rate API (open.er-api.com) to fetch the latest currency rates. This request does not include any personal information, product data, or unique identifiers.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the Extension or on its web store page.
