Terms of Use for Evil Level
Effective Date: November 2, 2026
Developer: Nascentra Labs
Application package: com.nascentra.evillevel
Current offering: Levels 1 to 50 free. One optional, one-time Google Play purchase (the “Evil Half”) unlocks levels 51 to 100 and eight premium characters. No subscriptions, no advertisements.
1. Agreement and Scope
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Nascentra Labs (“Nascentra”, “we”, “us”) about your use of Evil Level, the troll platformer game for Android, including its levels, characters, artwork, sounds, updates and any in-app content you unlock. By installing, opening or playing Evil Level you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not play, and uninstall the game. (The floor will understand. It is used to being abandoned.) These terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled, and with the Google Play Terms of Service, which govern your use of Google Play and any purchase you make through it.
2. Eligibility and Younger Players
Evil Level is designed to be suitable for a general audience. You may use the game if you are old enough to agree to these terms under the law of your country, or if a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these terms and agreed to them on your behalf. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether the game is appropriate for a child, for supervising play time, and for any purchase a child makes using the family’s Google account. Google Play offers family controls, including purchase approval, which we encourage families to use. If you are a parent and believe a child made a purchase without permission, please follow Google Play’s refund process and contact us if you need help.
3. What Evil Level Is
Evil Level is a single-player comedy platformer. Each level asks you to run, jump and reach a door, while the level itself tries to trick you with collapsing floors, hidden spikes, runaway doors, reversed controls, gravity flips, fake screens and many other traps. The game contains 100 levels across ten worlds, including boss fights at level 50 and level 100. Many levels have several trap layouts that reshuffle after two attempts, so the game is intentionally unpredictable. Every layout has been tested to be beatable, but the game is designed to be difficult and frustrating in a funny way, and you may die many times before you succeed. That is the point, not a defect.
4. Limited License to Play
Subject to these terms, Nascentra Labs grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to download, install and play Evil Level on Android devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license also covers any Evil Half content you unlock through a valid Google Play purchase on your Google account. You are being licensed the game, not sold it, and Nascentra Labs keeps all rights not expressly granted to you in these terms. The license begins when you install the game and continues until it is ended as described in Section 21 or until you uninstall the game and stop using it.
5. The Free Levels
Levels 1 to 50, the five worlds they contain, the first boss fight, two starting characters and five additional characters earned by clearing worlds 1 to 5 are available at no charge. You do not need to make any purchase, create an account or watch advertisements to play them, and there are no lives, energy timers or waiting periods. We may adjust the balance, layout or content of free levels in updates to fix problems or improve the game. We will not remove the free levels and later sell them back to you as paid content. The free portion of the game is offered as is, without a promise that it will remain identical in every future version.
6. The Evil Half Purchase
Levels 51 to 100, worlds 6 to 10, the final boss and eight premium characters (together, the “Evil Half”) are unlocked by one optional, one-time in-app purchase through Google Play. Google Play shows you the price in your local currency, including any applicable taxes, before you confirm. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. The purchase is a license to access digital content, linked to the Google account you used to buy it, and it does not create any ownership in the game itself. The Evil Half is unlocked on your device once Google Play confirms the purchase, and the game checks ownership with Google Play when it starts and resumes.
7. Payments, Pricing and Taxes
All payments for the Evil Half are processed by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Payments terms. Nascentra Labs does not collect or store your payment card or bank details. Prices are set in the Google Play Console and can differ between countries and change over time; the price you pay is the one Google Play displays when you confirm your purchase. A later price change, discount or promotion does not entitle you to a partial refund or credit. You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment provider. Taxes are calculated and collected by Google where Google is responsible for doing so under applicable law.
8. Refunds and Restoring Purchases
Refund requests for the Evil Half are handled by Google Play according to Google Play’s refund policies, which may allow a refund within a limited period after purchase and in other situations required by law. Nothing in these terms limits any refund or consumer right you have under the law of your country. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the Evil Half may be locked again. If you reinstall the game, change device or lose your local data, you can restore the Evil Half by signing in to the same Google account and tapping Restore purchase in the game. If restoring does not work, contact us with your Google Play order number and we will help.
9. Fake Screens Are Part of the Game
Evil Level is a comedy game, and some levels deliberately imitate other things to surprise you: fake crash dialogs, a fake “not responding” message, a fake advertisement, fake update screens, fake loading bars, a fake low-battery warning, a fake “YOU DIED”, fake “level complete” messages, and buttons or doors that run away. These are part of the level design and are drawn by the game itself. They never actually close the app, show real third-party advertising, download or install anything, change your device settings or ask for personal information. By playing, you accept that these deliberately misleading screens are a feature of the game and not a fault or a deceptive practice.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Evil Level only for lawful, personal entertainment and in line with these terms. You must not use the game, or any part of it, to infringe the rights of others, to harass anyone, or in any way that violates applicable law or Google Play’s policies. You are welcome to play the game in public, to share screenshots, clips and videos of your own gameplay, and to stream it, including on monetised channels, as long as you do not suggest that Nascentra Labs endorses you or your content and you do not present the game, its levels or characters as your own work. Please do not post spoilers in a way that is designed to deceive other players into harm.
11. Restrictions on Copying and Modification
Except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction, you must not copy, sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, redistribute or publish Evil Level or any of its parts, including its code, levels, level layouts, characters, artwork, sounds, music or text. You must not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or modify the game, create derivative games or level packs from it, bypass or tamper with the Evil Half purchase check, distribute modified or “unlocked” versions, or use automated tools to extract its content. You must not remove or alter any copyright, trademark or license notice. Any attempt to unlock paid content without a valid purchase is a breach of these terms.
12. Intellectual Property
Evil Level, including its name, logo, levels, level designs, characters, artwork, user interface, sounds, text, code and the overall look and feel of the game, is owned by Nascentra Labs and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. The game is built with the open-source libGDX game engine, used under the Apache License 2.0, and uses the Fredoka font under the SIL Open Font License; those components remain subject to their own licenses, which are not limited by these terms. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you. Feedback or level ideas you send us may be used to improve the game without any obligation to you.
13. Device Requirements and Compatibility
Evil Level requires an Android device running Android 8.0 or newer with OpenGL ES 2.0 support, and is designed for landscape play on phones and tablets. You are responsible for having a compatible device, enough storage and, for the optional purchase, a working Google Play installation and internet connection. We test the game on a range of devices, but we cannot guarantee that it will run on every device, every manufacturer’s version of Android, every screen size or every future version of Android. Performance can vary depending on your hardware, battery saver and system settings. If the game does not work properly on your device, please contact us before requesting a refund.
14. Local Progress, Backups and Reset
Your progress, death counts, characters and settings are saved only on your device. Nascentra Labs does not keep a copy and cannot restore them if they are lost. Progress may be lost if you uninstall the game, clear its storage, reset or replace your device, or use Reset progress in Settings, which cannot be undone. Android’s backup and device-transfer features may copy your progress to a new device depending on your settings, but those services are operated by Google or your device manufacturer, not by us, and we do not promise that they will work. Purchased Evil Half content is not lost with your progress and can be restored as described in Section 8.
15. Health and Safety
Please play responsibly and take regular breaks. Evil Level contains rapid movement, sudden visual changes, screen shake, flashing elements, darkness effects, inverted and mirrored screens and loud sound effects. If you or anyone in your household has epilepsy or has ever experienced seizures, loss of awareness or other symptoms linked to flashing lights, consult a doctor before playing. Stop playing immediately and seek medical advice if you feel dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitching, disorientation or discomfort. Screen shake and vibration can be turned off in Settings. If you feel frustration strong enough to throw your phone, put it down gently and come back later.
16. Updates and Changes to the Game
We may release updates to Evil Level to fix bugs, improve performance, adjust difficulty, add or change levels, characters and features, or meet the requirements of Google Play and Android. Some updates may be required to keep playing or to keep purchases working. Updates are delivered through Google Play and are covered by these terms unless they come with different terms. We may change, suspend or stop offering the game, or any part of it, at any time, for example for technical, legal or business reasons. If we stop distributing the game, copies already installed on your device will generally continue to work offline, but we cannot promise continued updates or support.
17. Support and Feedback
If something goes wrong, or a level feels unfair, tap Contact us in Settings. The game opens your e-mail app with a message to nascentra@gmail.com and an attached evil-level-debug.txt file containing technical details that help us find problems. You can read, edit or remove the attachment before sending. You can also reach us on WhatsApp at +923477419855. We try to reply to every message, but support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and we do not guarantee response times or that every issue can be fixed. Any feedback, suggestion or idea you send is voluntary, and you agree that we may use it to improve Evil Level or other products without payment or obligation.
18. Third-Party Services
Evil Level relies on services we do not control, including Google Play for distribution, billing and purchase restoration, Android for backups and file sharing, and the e-mail app you choose for support messages. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, actions or failures. For example, we cannot control Google Play outages, payment declines, refund decisions or changes to Google’s policies. If a third-party service becomes unavailable or changes in a way that affects the game, some features, such as buying or restoring the Evil Half, may temporarily or permanently stop working.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
Evil Level is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nascentra Labs disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of harmful components, compatible with your device, or that defects will be corrected. The game is deliberately designed to trick you, and its intended trolling behaviour is not a defect. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you, and your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nascentra Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, profits, goodwill, time or patience, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, Evil Level, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game will not exceed the amount you paid for the Evil Half in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, a nominal amount. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
21. Ending This Agreement
You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling Evil Level and deleting all copies of it. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these terms, for example by distributing modified copies, bypassing the purchase check or infringing our intellectual property, and, where reasonable, we will tell you why. When the agreement ends, your right to use the game ends and you must stop using and delete it. Sections that by their nature should continue, including those on intellectual property, restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and applicable law, continue to apply after the agreement ends. Ending the agreement does not by itself entitle you to a refund except where required by law.
22. Applicable Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the principal place of business of Nascentra Labs, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that if you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms takes those protections away. Before starting any formal claim, please contact us at nascentra@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the problem informally; most issues can be solved quickly this way. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within sixty days, it may be brought before the competent courts, or a consumer may bring a claim in the courts of their own country where local law allows it.
23. General Provisions
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms shown in Google Play at the time of purchase, are the entire agreement between you and Nascentra Labs about Evil Level. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect and the invalid part will be applied to the greatest extent the law allows. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the game, provided your rights are not reduced. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
24. Changes to These Terms and Contact
We may update these Terms of Use when the game or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page and in the game’s Settings screen, with its effective date shown at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will make it clearly visible before it takes effect, for example in the release notes of an update. Continuing to play after the new terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, you should stop playing and uninstall the game. For any question about these terms, contact Nascentra Labs at nascentra@gmail.com or WhatsApp +923477419855. Ready? Walk right. It’s easy. Probably.
